HIPAA Compliance for Supervisors reviews federal compliance guidelines for local government supervisors responsible for Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act employee awareness, pattern, and practice.  

Course Objectives:

  • Define HIPAA and how it is applicable to your organization
  • Review supervisory responsibilities in the context of HIPAA compliance
  • Review what you may and may not ask employees in relationship to personal medical information
  • Review proper handling of FMLA paperwork and health related notes.

  • Takes approximately one hour to complete.

Use this Registration Form to register participant(s) for one or more courses.   Populate all required fields.  Then save the form in Excel or .cvs format and email it as an attachment to finance@governmentresource.com.  An invoice will be emailed to you.  Upon receipt of payment, participants will be uploaded into the Pay-Per-View system.  Each participant will be emailed the access information for the course(s) for which they have been registered.  Please note that a $20 manual billing fee will be applied to all "Bill Me" orders.
