Amy Hardin has over 20 years experience managing and training business professionals. Her corporate career was in the telecommunications industry in the Human Resources, Information Technology, and Finance areas. Currently Ms. Hardin owns and operates an independent training and consulting firm, SmallByte W O R K S H O P S, designed to deliver training and development programs in efficient, compressed formats.
Ms. Hardin has had considerable experience managing and leading teams, developing employees and administering HR functions. Her management experience has given her a hands-on view of the issues facing today's corporations, especially through times of rapid change. Ms. Hardin's training experience has included instruction at both the executive and workforce levels. Her emphasis on relevant concepts and post-class action plans and processes make her workshops highly sought after. Ms. Hardin uses training formats to meet the needs of her clients, from traditional classroom delivery, to non-traditional methods such as online and distance learning training. She has trained managers on the use of HR plans and HRM software, management and leadership development programs, operations and process management, financial practices and computer software.
Ms. Hardin graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Mathematics and earned her MBA in Human Resources from the University of Dallas. She has been an active member of the American Society for Training and Development since 1993 and has served as Vice President-Member Services (2005) and VP-Programs (2003). Ms. Hardin is also active in the North Dallas and Frisco Chambers of Commerce with committee leadership and membership experience. She currently serves on the Board of the Frisco Association for the Arts. She is a native Texan and lives with her husband, Andy, in Frisco, Texas.
