A City Managers Futures Forum on Ethics in the Budget Process was held on April 9 in Rockwall, Texas, with over 50 city management professionals in attendance.
Our guest speaker, Dr. Michael Gillette from the University of Virginia, reviewed a series of important values that impact real-world decision making by local government officials. In addition to serving as a clinical ethicist at the University
of Virginia, Dr. Gillette serves as President of Bioethical Services of
Virginia. He is also serving his second term as a City Council Member
for the City of Lynchburg, Virginia.
