Leticia A. Jones possesses over 10 years of results-oriented experience as a professional speaker, trainer, government consultant, and project manager. Her vast experience has proven her philosophy that everyone and every organization has the ability to excel and sustain success when provided the right tools, knowledge, and support.
Her expertise in organizational and team development, strategic planning, collaborations, training and benchmark development, and grant development and management have been shared through her professional development seminars, customized onsite trainings, conferences, as well as written works. Recently, Texas Town & City, the official magazine of the Texas Municipal League, featured her article entitled "Grants: The $400 Billion Question." Her services are currently leveraged by governments, non-profits and educational institutions, large and small, across the nation.
Leticia's professional background is inundated with a passion for public service. Her recent work includes design and implementation of an "end-to-end" grant professional training series for local governments and their community-based organizations. She has worked in collaboration with the Veterans Affairs San Diego Healthcare System to administer millions of dollars of National Institutes of Health (NIH) funds. She served as a project manager to the City of Jacksonville, Florida, where she acquired over $22.9 million in competitive Federal and state grants and managed more than 100 capital improvement projects totaling more than $68 million.
Leticia graduated from Providence College with a dual B.A. in Political Science and Modern Languages and earned her Masters of Public Administration from Troy State University while living in Okinawa, Japan. She has a darling son that brings her infinite joy and a dedicated USMC Major husband. Originally from Dallas, TX, she currently splits her time between her hometown and San Diego, CA.
