Local Government 101

Substantial differences exist between operating in a private company and in the very high visibility and accountability of local government. Local Government 101 assists new employees in understanding the legal, cultural, and political environments of local government. This course provides an overview of the types of local governments and discusses forms of municipal government, specifically focusing on city manager-council form of government. Participants will also learn about municipal revenue sources, the annual budget process, and strategies for a successful career in local government.

Bill Me

Use this Registration Form to register participant(s) for one or more courses.   Populate all required fields.  Then save the form in Excel or .cvs format and email it as an attachment to finance@governmentresource.com.  An invoice will be emailed to you.  Upon receipt of payment, participants will be uploaded into the Pay-Per-View system.  Each participant will be emailed the access information for the course(s) for which they have been registered.  Please note that a $20 manual billing fee will be applied to all "Bill Me" orders.
