Subscribers have unlimited, 24-7 access to SGR’s Online Learning Management System. The system works with any PC with an Internet connection and a browser, eliminating the need to install software on each user's computer.

Student Materials

Each course includes a Participant’s Guide that may be printed or saved to user’s computer, attachments, applicable links to topic related resources, etc. Some courses also include a glossary of terms.

 
Testing

Each course contains a comprehension quiz that ensures participants grasp the material. Participants are always given the option to print quiz results.


Personal Home Page

Each user of the system gets a personal home page. A user’s home page will display their assigned courses, assigned curricula, event notifications, incomplete courses and completed courses.


Curriculum Assignment and Customization

Allows management to organize training specific to needs and customize curricula to best fit the individual, department, or entire organization.


Site Administration

The powerful site administration area provides the ability to easily search for users, add / edit / or make users inactive, assign and monitor training by user, department or the entire organization.


Tracking and Reporting

Generate reports based on a host of different queries or statistical information including date range, individual user’s data, courses completed, and number of user’s who have completed course by department.  The advanced reporting engine allows you to create custom reports by selecting exactly what you want to see on a report before running it.


Tracking Employee Participation in Courses Outside the LMS

Organizations can manually track training provided to employees  in house, or by third party vendors, using the LMS through the “Log Course Complete” function eliminating the need for multiple and redundant systems for employee training tracking!


Optional Due Dates

Managers can set due dates for courses and curricula they assign to their employees. Once overdue, the assignment will turn red on the user’s home page, and an overdue email notification will automatically be sent to the user and their manager/supervisor.


E-mail Notification

The system allows you to set an option to automatically email managers when any user has completed a course, section, curriculum, or test.  Managers can notify users that courses or curricula have been assigned to them.  Managers can also notify users about training information or organizational events.


Messaging System

Easily send your employee’s important information, news updates, instructions, or anything that you need to communicate.  All messages will appear on their home page and you will be notified when they've read your message.


Interactive Calendar

An interactive calendar displays the (due) dates of any courses, curricula, classes or events in the system.  Users can also use the interactive calendar to keep track of personal appointments.  Due dates and events can also be downloaded to your Outlook calendar.


Branding

Your organization’s logo will be displayed on the home page. As an SGR affiliate, a link to your city’s website will be posted on SGR’s website adding additional exposure to your city’s tourism interests, job openings, and special events.


Upload Custom Content

SGR’s LMS is SCORM compliant.  Organizations may use any SCORM compliant authoring tool to create their own custom training courses that for a nominal upload fee, can be hosted on the system and locked as “private” to their organization.

Servers are automatically backed up and patched during a nightly rolling upgrade window.
