SAMSON J. DeSESSA

Adjunct Speaker/Presenter for the Texas A&M Extension Service (TEEX) Leadership Development Program and US Air Force Veteran

 

 


Samson J. DeSessa was born in Kingsville, Tx. He is a Military Brat and lived for many years in Europe. After graduating High School in Germany in 1991 he followed in his father’s footsteps and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. Sam is an Honorably Discharged Veteran who has continued his employment with the Department of Defense since July of 1991. After serving 10 years Active Duty and deploying to Honduras, Bosnia and Multiple tours to Saudi Arabia he joined the Federal Civil Service and returned to Texas. 

Sam has been an Adjunct Speaker/Presenter for the Texas A&M Extension Service (TEEX) Leadership Development Program since May of 2008. Samson is building on his 28 plus years of experience in the Fire Service industry, 24 of those have been in supervisory/leadership roles. He currently serves in the capacity of the Assistant Fire Chief for the Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, the first of its kind in the U.S. military.

Samson is a Grit-building, Strengths-mining, Ownership-modeling leader. He strives to “Be Approachable, Be Available and Be Relatable” for his team.
