Sr. Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, Willis-Knighton Health System
Brian Crawford is a senior vice president and the chief administrative officer (CAO) for northwest Louisiana’s largest healthcare provider, Willis-Knighton Health System. He formerly served as the CAO for the City of Shreveport as well as fire chief in Shreveport and Plano, Texas. Crawford is a Certified Public Manager©, Certified Emergency Manager©, and a graduate of Harvard University’s Senior Executives in State and Local Government program.
In 2017 he was appointed by Governor John Bell Edwards to serve as the 4th Congressional District representative on the Louisiana State Police Commission. In 2018 Crawford was appointed by U.S. Department of Commerce Secretary Wilber Ross to serve on the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) Board of Directors. Locally, he serves on the Greater Shreveport Chamber and the Bossier Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Crawford possesses a Master of Arts in industrial psychology from Louisiana Tech University and a Bachelor of Science in organizational management. He is married to the former Stacey Thompson of Pineville. They have four children, Brent, Kristen, Landon, and Hayden.
