More and more organizations are seeing the value of executive coaching for their staff. In the past, coaching was for employees who were struggling to perform. However, today most of the executive coaching that SGR provides is for employees who are already performing well—and can perform even better by having an external coach.

Each Coaching Agreement is customized to meet the needs of the employee and the organization and the coaching is provided by an experienced executive with a local government background who understands the unique challenges of the public sector. Most coaching agreements last from 3 to 12 months and involve face to face meetings as well as assessments, readings, and other assignments. These coaching meetings follow a structure that keeps the focus on the person being coached and their performance.
