Hauson Le is a futurist and community advocate who centers his work on expanding collective agency to shape more sustainable, equitable futures. In his role as Strategic Foresight Manager at SGR, Hauson leads foresight research, builds organizational capacity, and facilitates strategic conversations that help local governments reimagine what’s possible.

He operates at the intersection of leadership development and foresight, combining rigorous methods with creative thinking to foster transformative collaboration. His projects have helped institutions embed new foresight capabilities, adopt adaptive strategies, and engage more deeply with emerging signals of change. Hauson describes himself as working “at the intersection of strategic foresight, capacity building, and facilitation for local governments across the United States.”

He holds a Master of Science in Strategic Foresight from the University of Houston and is a professionally trained futurist. Hauson’s work has been recognized by the Association of Professional Futurists: he received a Most Significant Futures Work Award in the Inspirational category. His foresight experience has been shared across foresight communities, including the World Futures Studies Federation in France, the Futures of Democracy in Iceland, and the Asia Pacific Futures Network in Taiwan.

When he speaks, writes, or leads workshops, he brings a deep respect for both data and imagination, always grounded in practical impact for communities.
