Shawna Barnes

To further her journey as a dedicated Servant Leader, Shawna Barnes joined SGR as the Director of Business Innovation. Previously, Shawna served as Business Process Manager for the City of Grapevine, bringing a decade of expertise in local government. During her tenure, she spearheaded transformative initiatives in innovation, business process automation, data analytics, and strategic planning, leveraging technology to optimize municipal operations. Shawna’s extensive experience in city government, combined with her eight years as an Operations Manager for a development firm in New Mexico, equips her with a unique blend of insight and leadership for her role at SGR.

Shawna earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico. Outside of work, she finds joy in watching classic films, traveling, reading, and spending quality time with family.
