About the Position
Are you a strategic, results-driven finance leader ready to help shape the future of public transportation in one of the nation’s fastest-growing cities? Austin Transit Partnership (ATP) is seeking a dynamic Senior Vice President of Financial Services to lead our budget, treasury, and financial planning functions. We’re looking for a leader who is:
• Highly experienced in governmental capital budgeting and long-term financial modeling
• Skilled at developing strategic, long-range financial plans for large-scale, federally funded capital projects
• Comfortable presenting to executive boards and advisory committees
• Capable of mentoring and developing a high-performing finance team

ATP is the local government corporation leading the planning, design, construction and implementation of Austin Light Rail. The new light rail system will be an infrastructure improvement unlike any other in Austin’s history and transform how people move around our city. Our team of experts includes a diverse mix of Austin locals and professionals from across the country. Reporting to the CFO, This new executive leadership position will work hand and hand with other members of ATP to advance the delivery of Austin’s transformative light rail system.
Required qualifications for this position include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Twelve years of progressively responsible experience in developing, monitoring, and analyzing operating and capital budgets, and financial statements
• 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Experience with capital planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting
Preferred qualifications include:
• Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or Public Administration)
• Experience with Oracle Fusion or other integrated financial systems
• Background in public transit and large infrastructure development
The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $200,000, depending on education and qualifications.
