Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience
  • Valid Texas Class C driver’s license

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MPA, JD)
  • Experience managing contracted lobbyists
  • Familiarity with Texas Local Government Code
  • Prior work with legislative bodies at multiple levels

The City of Irving is offering a competitive salary, with a hiring range of $105,276 – $129,420 depending on qualifications.
